Virginia Asian Chamber of Commerce is working toward a full recovery for those affected by Nargis Cyclone in Myanmar and Earthquake in China's Sichuan Province with an event this weekend.

This event is an evening of exquisite Asian cultural performances remembering the victims of natural disasters in Myanmar and China and presenting artistic demonstrations by statewide Asian artists and friends.

Leadership from the American Red Cross/Greater Richmond Chapter and Grace Chinese Baptist Church will present their efforts to help rebuild lives and encourage quicker recovery efforts and economic stability in Myanmar, China and around the world.

Saturday, June 28, 6 to 8 p.m. at the SunTrust Bank Amphitheatre (919 E. Main St., 4th Floor). Free parking in the SunTrust parking garage
