Creedence Clearwater Revisited and Little Feat at Innsbrook After Hours
Original CCR drummer and bassist Doug Clifford and Stu Cook, respectively, decided to regroup back in 1995 under the notion of never playing for the public or touring for that matter. But after being hounded by fans and having friends promote a couple shows, here they come after touring North and South America and Europe. German guitar extraordinaire Tim Reynolds will be burning down the house with his band the Tim Reynolds Trio (TR3). Formed back in 1984, they have experienced several member switches but the three are back for an eagerly anticipated return. CitySlickers Bluegrass Festival at The Science Museum of Virginia
A member of the International Bluegrass Music Hall of Honor, banjo player Ralph Stanley (A.K.A. Dr. Ralph Stanley, in the bluegrass world) and the rest of the Clinch Mountain Boys will be kicking off this mammoth shindig. You can also expect other Virginia locals such as Jackass Flats and Special Ed and the Short Bus. There will be plenty of delicious food and beverages along with a children's area and craft vendors. $10 in advance or $15 at the door, though children 12 and under are free. All ages welcome.
