Anti-Flag at The National
Way back in 1988 in Glenshaw, Penn., two terrible musicians - Pat Thetic on drums and Justin Sane on guitar - formed the first punk rock band in the area. Today the foursome is one of the best known fascist band of punkers that still carries a message that "you don't have to agree with." Anti-Flag will be playing with Street Dogs, The Briggs and Fake Problems. $15 general admission. All ages show. 6:30 p.m.

Slightly Stoopid at Innsbrook After Hours
Psychedelic rock reggae fun for everyone! They hail from Ocean Beach, Calif. and want to make their fans dance, jump and sway to songs from their latest album Chronichitis, which was released last August. The band was signed by the late great Bradley Nowell from Sublime to Skunk Records, so you know they "had to be down with the sublime sound." $15 in advance or $20 at the door. All ages show. 7 p.m.

Richmond Symphony Orchestra at Toad's Place
"The educational programs of the Richmond Symphony seek to foster and develop diverse, informed audiences who value live symphonic performances and music education in our community; to help nurture and develop young musicians; and to advocate for music education and orchestral music."

They forgot to mention they play very, very beautiful music. The renowned musical ensemble will be playing its Genworth Financial Kicked Back Classics, which means tunes by Beethoven, Debussy, Mozart, Strauss, Tchaikovsky and more. $10 general admission. All ages show. 8 p.m.
Firehouse at The National
Voted "Best New Hard Rock/Metal Band" at 1992's American Music Awards, these guys haven't quit yet. Best known for love ballads such as All She Wrote, and Don't Treat Me Bad, the melodic rock quartet from Charlotte, N.C. will be performing their songs from 1990 up to 2003, being that they haven't made any albums since. $12.50 general admission. All ages show. 8 p.m.

Girl Talk at Toad's Place
Music producer and mashup DJ, Gregg Gillis is pumping jams from his newest LP Wild Peace IV: Feed The Animals, Raise The Dead. Girl Talk is known for the remixes of traditional genres such as indie rock, grunge, alternative and punk, and making them into Electronic-Experimental-Glitch-Dance music. Also playing along is progressive hip-hop duo Panacea. $15 general admission. All ages show. 8 p.m.
Ace Frehley at The National
Renowned lead guitarist for KISS is soloing again after a five and a half year hiatus from the last show of the KISS Farewell Tour. His first return performance was in late October last year so he's warmed up for a visit to Richmond. Expect classics from the KISS repertoire as well as Frehley's Comet. $20 general admission. All ages show. 9 p.m.

Cinco de Mayo Fiesta at Brown's Island
Come have some family fun in the sun. There will be vendors galore, plenty of food and beverages, and a children's area, in case they're not huge 80's rock fans. Joan Jett, National Product, Red, and Evans Blue will be performing for the 12th Annual Cinco de Mayo Fiesta. Proceeds will benefit Greater Richmond SCAN (Stop Child Abuse Now). $15 in advance or $20 at the gate. All ages show. Noon until 7 p.m.

Love Junkies at Alley Katz
Gorilla Productions puts on another big show. Out of Irvine, Calif. the Love Junkies are self-described as a tight punchy rock sound with a tender slap of that funky soul.
