According to the guys in the office, there's some sort of sporting event going on this weekend.
The Colonial Athletic Association Men's Basketball Championship is in town and apparently that's a big deal.
I'm told that, in addition to the 12 teams traveling in for the games, the conference brings thousands of fans from all over the East Coast to our fair city. And since we're about to be inundated with sports fans, I thought it was only fitting that we gave them a local guide to the sports bars around town.
Whether you're in town for the game, you're a local who wants to check the score or you're just looking for some good finger-food, Richmond.com's guide to sports bars tells you where to go. It's a simple list that includes the only criteria that I can imagine sports fans care about: wings, beer and televisions.
I'll tell you how many TVs each place has, how many variety of wings they serve, how many beers are on tap and whether or not you can order a pitcher of beer. The rest is up to you. So happy dining, sports fans -- and go Rams!
