It is too bad the Grace Street store did not meet expectations or business goals. I commend Ukrop's for giving that store a shot. That store, though unsuccessful, is another example of their commitment to our community.

I agree with Tyler. I thought all employees in retail went through a training program on customer service. People are spending their money and the last thing we expect is rude and uncooperative service. Also, the food isnt as fresh as it used to be. They need to invest more in vendors with better food products.

It's too bad that Ukrop's couldn't keep a downtown store. I wish one could remain operational. As a downtown resident, though, I couldn't bear to shop there. The service was terrible -- the staff was rude and slow and I went out of my way to go to Carytown. It just shows how important good customer service really is. Now if only they could do something about the bad service at the Forest Hill location!
