DINWIDDIE COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Dinwiddie County Planning Commission will meet on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at 7:00 PM in the Board Room of the Dinwiddie Government Center Building at 14010 Boydton Plank Road, Dinwiddie, Virginia 23841, to hold a public hearing and to take action on the following matter: CASE C-21-7. The applicant, Superior Signs authorized representative Allen M. Twedt and agent for property owner, Olive Branch Baptist Church, are seeking a conditional use permit to allow for an electronic message center sign in the A-2, Agricultural General, zoning district as set forth in Zoning Ordinance Sec. 22-258.1 (a). The property is located at 11119 Boydton Plank Road, Dinwiddie, VA and the property is further defined as Tax Map Parcel No. 45-106. As indicated in the Dinwiddie County Comprehensive Land Use Plan, the subject property is located within the Planned Growth Area, which allows for medium and low-density residential uses for this general area. Any persons having an interest in the above matter are encouraged to attend the meeting at the specific time and location to express their views.
