NOTICE TO CITY OF RICHMOND RESIDENTS THE NOVEMBER GENERAL ELECTION WILL BE HELD ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 2, 2021 For: Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, House of Delegates, Commonwealth's Attorney, Sheriff, Treasurer, and Casino Referendum ID IS REQUIRED TO VOTE AT THE POLLS Please verify your voter registration, polling place, and the types of ID that are acceptable BEFORE you show up to vote at www.elections.virginia.gov. POLLS WILL BE OPEN ON ELECTION DAY FROM 6 AM TO 7 PM PLEASE WEAR A MASK Any qualified resident of Virginia who will be 18 by November 2, 2021 may register and vote in this election. Social distancing will be required at the polls. POLLING PLACE CHANGES Voters in precinct 111 will vote at the Church of the Holy Comforter. THE DEADLINE TO REGISTER TO VOTE IN THIS ELECTION IS: Tuesday, October 12, 2021 Persons with DMV issued ID CAN REGISTER TO VOTE, update their voter registration, or apply for an absentee ballot ONLINE at www.elections.virginia.gov/citizen-portal Register in the Office of Elections between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, except holidays. Applications will be mailed upon request. Voter registration applications must either be postmarked or in the Office of Elections by 5 PM on the deadline date. THE DEADLINE TO APPLY FOR AN ABSENTEE BALLOT THROUGH THE MAIL IS Friday, October 22, 2021 Early voting begins on Friday September 17, 2021 and it ends at 5:00 PM, Saturday, October 30, 2021, except in the case of certain emergencies or military personnel. The Office of Elections will be open for Early Voting from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, M-F. It will also be open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturday, October 23rd and 30th, 2021. Sunday hours, on October 17th and 24th, will be from 12 PM until 5 PM. Starting on October 17th, Early Voting will also be available at City Hall, 900 East Broad Street, Richmond, VA 23219 and the Hickory Hill Community Center, 3000 East Belt Boulevard, Richmond, VA 23234 during the same hours as the main office.
