PLEASE CHECK WWW.GOOCHLANDVA.US FOR ANY UPDATES REGARDING THIS MEETING. __________________________ Countywide Ordinance Amendment - ZOA-2020-00003 initiated by Cox Property LLC to amend Goochland County Zoning Ordinance Section 15-262 to add car washes in M-1 (Industrial, Limited) districts through conditional use permits and Section 15-272 to add car washes by conditional use permits and automobile sale, service and rental as by right uses in M-2 (Industrial, General) districts. District 4 - CU-2020-00015 - Application by Cox Property, LLC requesting a Conditional Use Permit for a car wash on 1.4 acres at 1515 Little Tuckahoe Court on Tax Map 59-1-0-38-A. The property is zoned Industrial, General (M-2). The Conditional Use Permit is required by Goochland County Zoning Ordinance Section 15-272. A zoning ordinance amendment is pending to allow this use. The Comprehensive Plan designates this area as Commercial and 100-year Floodplain. Countywide Ordinance repealing Goochland County Code Section 9-11 (Parades and processions generally) and adopting Sections 9-46 through 9-58, all relating to parades and processions, including exempting spontaneous processions, adding expressive activity and specific provisions therefor, limiting required application information, requiring compliance with other regulations, broadening eligible security agencies, allowing county personnel access, decreasing time for permit filing and review, specifying and clarifying standards for decision on permit, authorizing permit conditions, specifying recoverable county costs, reducing deposit requirement, specifying and clarifying permit revocations and cancellations, decreasing and revising penalty provisions, providing permit appeal process, and restricting interference with permitted parades or processions (the Board was asked to defer this public hearing at its October 6th meeting).
