The marriage of Miss Sara Katelyn Sumner and Charles Richard Busch, II, was an intimate family gathering that took place on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at Virginia House in Richmond.The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick T. Scruggs of Forest, Virginia and Mr. Grady E. Sumner, Jr. of Goode, Virginia. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs.Thomas B. Arthur of Forest, Virginia and the late Mr. and Mrs. Grady E. Sumner of Bedford, Virginia.The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen D. Busch, of Richmond, Virginia. He is the grandson of the late Mr. Leo R. Busch, of Albemarle County, Virginia, and the late Mrs. Margaret D. Busch of Springfield,Missouri, and Dr. Richard F. Heitmiller of Nashua, New Hampshire and the lateMrs. Diantha G. Heitmiller

of Richmond, Virginia.The bride was escorted down the aisle by her brother, Evan T. Sumner. On Friday evening the rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom’s parents at their home. Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents

hosted a reception and dinner at Virginia House.The bride is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University and the groom is a graduate of Washington & Lee University. The bride and groom both work at HarrisWilliams. After a honeymoon to Blackberry Farm in Tennessee, the couple will move into their new home in Richmond.
