The Rack Apparel has opened at Tuckernuck Square shopping center on West Broad Street.

Angela Spall has opened Spall Consulting, a boutique consulting firm specializing in assisting attorneys, accountants and other professionals with their business development and marketing needs through strategic training and lead generation. The office is at 3126 W. Cary St. in Richmond.


Warren Whitney & Sherwood has changed its name to Warren Whitney. The Henrico County-based management consulting firm serves privately held and nonprofit organizations.


The Virginia business unit of Fidelity National Title Group has moved to Vistas II, 5516 Falmouth St., in Henrico County. The company, formerly known as Chicago Title Insurance Co., had been on East Main Street in downtown Richmond. The former LandAmerica Financial Corp. sold some of its business units to Fidelity National Title Insurance Co. and Chicago Title Insurance Co., which are subsidiaries of Florida-based Fidelity National Financial Inc.


Neathawk Dubuque & Packett has been given a Gold Award in the national ADDY competition. The advertising, marketing and public relations agency won for a poster campaign for The Perfect Fix, a handyman shop in Forest. 

The Virginia Early Childhood Foundation has been given a first-place award in the national 2011 Nonprofit PR Awards sponsored by PR News, a provider of media-relations tools and tactics for professional communicators. The entry was awarded top honors in the "PR on a Shoestring" category.


Harris Williams & Co. announces the sale of Northern Digital Inc., a portfolio company of Audax Group, to buyer Roper Industries Inc. The Richmond-based investment banking firm of Harris Williams acted as an adviser to Northern Digital. The transaction was led by Turner Bredrup, Todd Morris, Cheairs Porter, Andy Dixon and Andrew Hewlett of the firm's health care and life-sciences group.


Wyndham Virginia Crossings Hotel & Conference Center has partnered with Organizational Wide Leadership Solutions to expand its offerings to corporate and association clients in central Virginia. The Organizational Wide Leadership Solutions' offerings include retreat facilitation, indoor management development programs and team building. Each program is designed to help employees, managers and executives develop and hone business-related skills, such as motivating others, goal alignment, taking calculated risks and communicating within a group.
