I can't help but think the City of Richmond is part of the problem.
I have been to both malls - but only for dining and not shopping. Short Pump is definitely superior simply because of its location AND being around everything else where customers are already going. Stony Point? Not really near anything else of importance during one's daily routine.
I love Stoney point. I love the fact I can take my dogs there to walk and play. Short pump is too big to navagate. I hate going there and I only go if I have to go to Apple. I f Apple came to Stoney point that would really be great
I love Stony Point! Love the location, the landscaping, the surroundings, the LACK of masses of car traffic. It's relaxing to walk through there, in contrast to the sensory overload at Short Pump that has me scurrying to finish my business. Parking is easier, entering and exiting is easier, and one more time.....the location is great! I go to Short Pump only if forced to visit Apple. I didn't know Stony Point had a curtain store. Perhaps they need to advertise all of what's there in a single ad? Flyers of their events to the surrounding communities (including UR area)? And you can walk your dog there! Just checked their website. Unless you know what the listed stores sell by looking at their logos, you can't tell what they offer unless you click each store. Perhaps a more informative website would help.
The tax is now 12.8% in Richmond.
The difference between the progress of the two complexes is simple
Saks Fifth Avenue does very well here. The absolutely have the best men's dress shirts and sportswear in Richmond. I'm glad they're here!
What? No mention of BRIO Tuscsn at Stony Point? It’s a wonderful place to “gather.”
