Another aftershock has struck Louisa County in the aftermath of the magnitude-5.8 earthquake that rocked the region Aug. 23.
The United States Geological Survey says a magnitude-3.1 aftershock was recorded Sunday at 11:21 p.m. about 6 miles south-southwest of Mineral.
There have been dozens of small aftershocks in the area since the August quake, which caused millions of dollars in damages.
The Louisa County Sheriff's Office said there were no immediate reports of damage.
A western Henrico County resident said the aftershock was strongly felt there.
"It felt like a helicopter a couple hundred of feet away," he said. "It was that type of vibration on the house."
