Fletcher named Godwin's baseball coach

Mills Godwin has named John Fletcher its baseball coach. Fletcher was an assistant at Godwin in 2011 and was previously the head coach at J.R. Tucker.

He replaces John Marano, who led the team for 15 seasons [e].

“We are beyond thrilled to have coach Fletcher continue with the longstanding tradition of success for the Godwin baseball program,” said Ryan Molloy, the school’s athletics director.

Fletcher is the third baseball coach for Godwin, which fielded its first team in 1981, following Marano and Dan Lynch.
