Car fire on I-95 overpass in Richmond

A car fire on the Interstate 95 overpass in Richmond caused massive  delays for northbound traffic.

A car fire on the Interstate 95 overpass near where North Belvidere Street becomes Chamberlayne Avenue has caused a massive backup for northbound traffic.

Authorities said no one appeared to be injured after the northbound driver stopped on the overpass because the car was on fire. Northbound traffic was blocked back to Monroe Park and further south.

Northbound traffic is being routed onto Leigh Street.
