The Hopewell Police Department is hosting a community forum tonight to “engage in prayer and open conversation ... in reflection of the tragic events across the nation,” according to a statement from Chief John Keohane.
The event will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Carter G. Woodson Middle School, 1000 Winston Churchill Drive. It will be held in the school’s multipurpose room.
The police department is planning the forum in partnership with the Hopewell Sheriff’s Office and the Organization of Concerned Churches and Citizens. Community and faith leaders and residents are encouraged to attend.
