This is too soon. The kids will be carriers of Covid to others and especially the elderly. And this is right in the middle of what the medical experts say will be the worst period yet in the Covid pandemic. Kids returning to school is more important than saving lives? This is a mistake and I don't appreciate my good health being put at risk to return kids to school in what's left of the school year.

Cheetah, many don't wear masks, because the science shows that they don't work to keep people from getting the Wuhan virus. The virus is so small in size, that it passes through the filtering mask and infects the person.......Want proof, sure, people in Europe have mandatory mask rules forcing them to wear masks, and they are getting sick by the millions, because the masks DON'T WORK. The science DOES tell us that schools are some of the safest places, because children are less susceptible to getting the Wuhan virus and transmitting it.....................When you know the facts and the science Cheetah, returning children to school is a no-brainer, but then politics is now the watchword in the Wuhan virus pandemic, and Dot Heffron DOESN'T have a clue about the science behind the Wuhan virus, she is playing politics and she is siding with the teachers union here in Chesterfield with the politics.

Fred.......I take it that you are not a medical doctor nor a medical doctor specializing in virus infections such as a Virologist. With that being stated....based on my research/homework....it is stated by the Mayo Clinic......the following: "Can face masks help slow the spread of the coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) that causes COVID-19? Yes, face masks combined with other preventive measures, such as frequent hand-washing and social distancing, help slow the spread of the virus."

But just like a condom.....nothing is 100% accurate. I do understand that younger people are more apt to not get the virus and/but it does increase(s) with age. And the severity is based on age, weight, health, activity, etc.

The true problem is that people can not accept being told or advised to do things that they are not accustomed to......in other words.....as a pro sports player stated today...."no one is going to tell me what I can and cannot do.....I am a grown man!".........

So.......the problem.....our problem will continue.......and as one person stated way back when this all started....the only way this virus will end or subside is by going full circle......that might be the case.......but I'll take my chances by wearing a mask(100%), using alcohol cleaning products and keeping away from everyone......including away from you.

Kudos to the ONE lone NO voter!!!! As in other countries.....that are BACK in a FULL lock down.....due to this virus. No one will be truly satisfied until a child dies from this virus. As I witnessed just tonight in a public place......a lady REFUSED to put on a mask....at the risk of herself and others......people in the US just do not get it.....look what happened in Alabama last night at the game.....
