Police took a man into custody after a triple shooting Friday afternoon in North Richmond.
Officers on patrol heard gunshots about 2:40 p.m. and saw a crowd dispersing in the 3200 block of Carolina Avenue in Highland Park, according to Richmond police spokeswoman Dionne Waugh.
Three men were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds, Waugh said.
Waugh did not identify the man in custody.
“They are interviewing him now,” she said. No additional information was immediately available.
