Virginia State Police are investigating the crash that occurred on state Route 460 eastbound near Sutherland Drive.

About 5 a.m. Sunday, state police responded to the scene after the driver of a Chevrolet Camaro, who was traveling eastbound on Route 460, was struck head-on by the driver of a 2004 Jeep Cherokee, according to police.

The Jeep Cherokee was traveling westbound in the eastbound lane of Route 460 at the time of the crash, police said.
