Neel Veterinary Hospital in Oklahoma City has announced that a “miracle” puppy with six legs was born on February 16. The puppy, named Skipper, was born with six legs, two tails, two pelvic regions and two reproductive systems. Veterinarians believe that Skipper is the first puppy to be born alive with six legs. All of her legs move and respond to stimulus just like a normal puppy. It’s possible she may need physical therapy and assistance with mobility as she gets older, Neel Veterinary Hospital on Facebook. Skipper was born along with eight brothers and sisters during a large snowstorm. Once the storm had passed, Skipper’s owners brought her to the hospital so the vets could examine her. We will continue to research her conditions, monitor her development during rechecks and help keep Skipper pain-free and comfortable for the rest of life, Neel Veterinary Hospital on Facebook.
