30-year-old rapper PnB rock has died after being shot during a robbery at Roscoe's Chicken & Waffles in Los Angeles. A suspect entered the restaurant with a firearm and demanded items from the rapper before shooting him and fleeing. Rock, whose real name is Rakim Hasheem Allen, was brought to a local hospital and later pronounced dead. "This news is heavy on our hearts and we are all hurting over this senseless loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time," Atlantic Records said in a statement. He is best known for his 2016 single Selfish as well as his 2019 album TrapStar Turnt PopStar which reached number one on the Billboard rap chart. Throughout his career, Rock collaborated with several well-known artists, including Nicki Minaj, Swae Lee, 2 Chainz and Wiz Khalifa. The day before the incident, the rapper was at a wedding with his partner Stephanie Sibounheuang. He is survived by their 2-year-old daughter Zuri and his daughter Milan from a previous relationship.
