GALLAGHER, Cameron Kathleen. Our sweet Cameron ran to the Lord on Sunday, March 16, 2014 after completing the Shamrock Half-Marathon in Virginia Beach. Freeman High School and attended St. Gertrude High School her freshman year. She was a member of the St. Bridget Community, where she also attended grades K-8. Cameron lived an active lifestyle and was a talented swimmer and participated in numerous swim programs through NOVA, St. Gertrude, Douglas S. Freeman High School, WestwoodCountry Club and Hermitage Country Club. She will be missed by so many and remembered by more. She is survived by her parents, David and Grace; brother, Andrew (18); sisters, Reilly (13), Sydney (8); and brother, Mitchell (5). She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Kathleen Handy and Homer Washington Handy. We all miss you, sweet girl, and you will always be in our hearts. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. with a Prayer Service being held at 7p.m. Wednesday, March 19 at Bliley's-Central, 3801 Augusta Ave. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Bridget Catholic Church.
