I have a subscription to the newspaper, how do I get my free digital access?

You can call us at (804) 644-4181 to activate your digital account. You also can also log into Richmond.com using the same information that you use to manage your subscription account and your digital account will activate at that time.

How can I access the electronic edition of the newspaper?

Go to Richmond.com/Eedition. Or you can just click on the e-edition link at the top of any page at Richmond.com. Remember, you must be a subscriber to read the e-edition. 

What will you do with my account information?

The Richmond Times-Dispatch does not sell, rent or share your personal information with any other party.

Can I cancel my subscription online?

No. Please call (804) 644-4181. You also may go to Richmond.com/Contact-Us, send us a message using the forms on this web page.

Can I get extra copies of coupons from your unsold newspapers?

We get this request a lot. Unfortunately, no. However, you may purchase as many copies of the Sunday paper as you like to get more coupons and money-saving offers from our advertisers.

Do you deliver newspapers to apartments?

What are your newspaper delivery times?

Our goal is to deliver the newspaper to you by 6 a.m. Monday-Saturday and by 7:30 a.m. on Sunday

Can I tour the Richmond Times-Dispatch printing plant?

Yes. We offer free tours of the building in Hanover County that houses our presses. It’s pretty cool. To arrange for a tour, please call Nicole McMullin in our Marketing Department at (804) 649-6777.

Is it free to use the Richmond Times-Dispatch archive?

The archives are free to search. But you must pay to read articles. This is separate from a RTD subscription, which gives you unlimited access to the content currently on Richmond.com

I just ordered a newspaper subscription online. How long until my delivery begins?

If you purchase a subscription online or over the phone, delivery will begin as soon as possible and no later than three business days after the order was placed.
