BLACKSBURG — Landers Nolley scored 22 points. Tyrece Radford scored 2 — the last 2.

Radford's short jumper with a second to go lifted Virginia Tech to a 79-77 victory in double overtime, handing North Carolina a sixth-straight ACC loss for the first time in program history.

The Hokies got defensive stops at the end of regulation and the end of the first overtime to keep the night going. Then, in the second overtime, they held off the slumping Tar Heels.

UNC got 28 points and 13 rebounds from Garrison Brooks, dominating paint scoring 40-20. But the Tar Heels didn't have a single fast-break or second-chance point in regulation.

Freshman guard Jalen Cone added 18 for the Hokies, going 6 for 11 from 3-point range.
