Dinwiddie lineman D'Anta Johnson committed to East Carolina last week. The senior also had offers from Liberty, Coastal Carolina and Kent State.

Johnson (6-2, 275) set a Dinwiddie record earlier this season when he recorded six sacks in a game against Petersburg.

ECU has been a popular destination for Richmond-area football players since it hired coach Mike Houston from James Madison. Rick D'Abreu (Matoaca), Collin Harding (Manchester) and K.J. McNeil (Manchester) all committed there last year.
