Mac Jones, who finished third in the Heisman voting, was 36 for 45 for a CFP championship-record 464 yards and five touchdowns. In one of maybe the most overlooked seasons a quarterback has ever played, Jones set a single-season record for passer efficiency rating at 203.
Great article. Spot on. I’d take that QB room in a heartbeat. Allen is cheap, has a good blend of size/mobility, and the coaches love him. Heinicke is our brilliant version of Gardner Minshew. Entertaining and effective. Would love to see Stafford or Taylor in Washington this year! More room to build the roster with Taylor, but Stafford is more capable of winning games on his own if the defense is off. Either guy gives us a legit chance at 10+ wins and an optimistic playoff push.
Why not focus on evaluating drafting Mac Jones--he tore up Ohio State; and will continue team's "draft Alabama players" tradition, so he'd feel at home here.
