Stat of the week

59: Seasons since the last time NASCAR disqualified an apparent race winner. Emanuel Zervakis’ victory at Wilson Speedway in North Carolina on April 17, 1960, was thrown out because of an oversized fuel tank. Mike Skinner was stripped of a victory in 1999, but that decision was reversed on appeal.
