NextSteps Educational Academy (or NSED Academy) is an educational provider based out of Richmond, Virginia that offers educational opportunities for elementary through college level students, such as after school programs, weekend boot camps and summer camp programs.

NSED Academy has been serving the Richmond, Virginia area for more than 10 years, with the goal of better preparing youth for a successful career. It offers a variety of programs that educate local students and teach them about personal and professional development.

Working with local colleges, universities, faith based organizations, chambers and school systems to house its programs, NSED Academy works to reach regional students of all backgrounds.

NSED Academy was created to increase awareness and familiarity of science and information technology and how it can be applied to career choices.

Courses are hands-on and interactive, facilitated by NSED Academy staff, technology professionals with a passion for his/her given field of choice, and other mentors, including college interns, retired or current educators and partner and corporate sponsors.

Programs introduce students to topics, including how computers work, how they are built, what goes into programming and networking and introduction to cyber-security.
