Think larger than life. Wellness, hospitality, connection, shared experiences and adventure — all in one place. Your home.
For a taste of what that redesigned lifestyle looks like, Shea Homes is inviting individuals to tour its new 55-plus resort-caliber boutique community at Trilogy ThreeOaks from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 12, in Culpeper (150245 Passion Lane). The event is free and open to the public.
Located just 70 miles from Washington, D.C., and only 45 miles north of Charlottesville, Virginia, Trilogy ThreeOaks provides residents with something unexpected. The close-knit, smaller-scale community, set in the charming historic surroundings of Culpeper, includes 268 high-quality homes ranging from about 1,829 to 5,275 square feet, with anywhere from two to six bedrooms and two to five baths. Garages, lofts and basements also present multiple options. Homeowners can also choose SheaConnect health and wellness design enhancements, as well as energy-efficient packages.
The community, the first for the Shea Homes’ Trilogy brand in the state, is designed to create a vibrant lifestyle in a fun, sophisticated setting.
“Trilogy’s Culpeper location is a more personal scale of community,” said Shauna Farmer, vice president of marketing for Shea Homes. “We really focus on how we make each member feel valued and supported in a hospitality-forward environment. This is more than a collection of amenities. We have on-site professional hospitality coordinators who elevate the living experience from day one.”
Originating as a family-owned plumbing business in 1881, the J.F. Shea Company has evolved into one of the largest and oldest privately held construction firms in the country, having contributed to iconic civil engineering projects like the Hoover Dam and the Golden Gate Bridge and, more recently, the Amtrak Baltimore project. In 1968, the company diversified into homebuilding and now specializes in the development of master-planned communities.
The acclaimed Trilogy brand is a key part of its business today, with the company having been named America’s Most Trusted Active Adult Resort Builder for 14 consecutive years. The Culpeper community joins 16 other Trilogy communities — with more than 20,000 homes — located throughout 10 states.
Culpeper’s Trilogy community is centered around the Open Wellness + Social Club, an expansive boutique lobby that serves as the social and recreational hub. Residents can enjoy a variety of on-site offerings including a signature bar, culinary studios, resort-style pool, pickleball courts and a movement studio, as well as a discounted membership to an area fitness club, to name a few.
Farmer said the Sept. 12 open house will feature a guided preview tour of the Open Wellness + Social Club, a presentation by Trilogy lifestyle guru Kim Alexis, craft cocktails and curated refreshments, meet-and-greet with current and future neighbors, and an exclusive first look at the company’s new model home gallery. Of the 268 lots available, 63 have already been sold and 37 families have already moved in.
