The Richmond Symphony had a fashion show and asked the Richmond Christmas Mother to model. On the runway, Mary Jane Hogue thanked the many supporters who came out for a day of camaraderie and dreaming about fall and holiday apparel. Yet at the other end of Stony Point Mall, Mary Jane shared what the Salvation Army was doing at the exact same time for individuals facing hardships beyond their control. The Richmond Christmas Mother used her platform of demonstrating kindness to appeal to everyone in the room requesting that all extend hands to ensure that every family can experience the magic of Christmas. Mary Jane used the runway to share that all donations go to Feedmore, The Salvation Army and 50 nonprofits who cater to human needs 365 days a year. She asked everyone to IMAGINE what would have happened last year if people had NOT donated to the Richmond Christmas Mother fund.. As a grateful Richmond Christmas Mother, Mary Jane asked for help in spreading comfort and joy to as many people as possible this upcoming holiday season.
