The 2025 Richmond Christmas Mother program has reached a total of $158,886.95 in gifts from the community as the fifth week of the campaign begins. The Christmas Mother this year is Mary Jane Hogue.
In 2024, the Richmond Christmas Mother Fund received gifts totaling $377,319.42.
The Times-Dispatch follows its tradition of publishing the names of donors to the Richmond Christmas Mother Fund throughout the holiday season. Your generosity helps the fund support initiatives across the region to brighten the holiday season for thousands of your neighbors.
Mary Jane Hogue, the 2025 Richmond Christmas Mother, rode in the Dominion Energy Christmas Parade on Saturday.
The Times-Dispatch has sponsored the Richmond Christmas Mother program, a yearly holiday fund drive, since 1935, some of those years in partnership with the former afternoon newspaper, the Richmond News Leader.

Donations to the Richmond Christmas Mother Fund are fully tax-deductible. The program is a qualified 501©(3) organization. All operational costs are borne by the Richmond Times-Dispatch.
