The West Richmond Rotary Club foundation has made a donation of more than $11,000 to help push the 2025 Richmond Christmas Mother Fund to $205,482.95 as the campaign begins its sixth week.
The organization presented a check for $11,046 to honor Mary Jane Hogue, the Richmond Christmas Mother, who also is a member of the West Richmond Rotary.
The Christmas Mother thanked her fellow Rotarians for their generosity, cheerleading and support for the fund. She said the West Richmond Rotary Club is not only lighting up a Christmas tree, but also lighting up lives through their donations, thus modeling "service above self," which is the motto of Rotary International.
The Times-Dispatch follows its tradition of publishing the names of donors to the Richmond Christmas Mother Fund throughout the holiday season. Your generosity helps the fund support initiatives across the region to brighten the holiday season for thousands of your neighbors.

The Times-Dispatch has sponsored the Richmond Christmas Mother program, a yearly holiday fund drive, since 1935, some of those years in partnership with the former afternoon newspaper, the Richmond News Leader.
Donations to the Richmond Christmas Mother Fund are fully tax-deductible. The program is a qualified 501©(3) organization. All operational costs are borne by the Richmond Times-Dispatch.
