It’s all in the name. If it has to be perfect, it has to be Super. As in Super Radiator Coils, selected as one of this year’s 2026 Top Workplaces.
Since 1928, the family-owned engineering and manufacturing company has firmly believed that business success and customer loyalty are meant to be earned. By continually reinvesting profits into research, new technologies and people development, the company has become one of the industry leaders in heat transfer.
With three locations (Richmond, Phoenix, Minneapolis), each fully staffed with its own engineering, production and support functions, Super Radiator Coils is able to provide unparalleled service and access to quality heat transfer components across the nation.
Below is a Q&A with Nate Budryk from Super Radiator Coils.
What makes your business special?
We’re an industry-leading engineering and manufacturing firm making critical components for equipment that we benefit from every day. We’re family-owned, employee-focused and committed to being the best we can be for our customers, vendors and the people who work here. Whether that’s our annual free Busch Gardens picnic for every employee and their family or our chairman and principal owner hand-delivering holiday bonus checks to every single employee, we do our best to live up to our values of Relationships, Excellence, Problem Solving, Integrity and Teamwork.
How has being named a Top Workplace for 2026 impacted your business internally?
It’s become a staple of our calendar! We look forward to it every year and mark the occasion with custom T-shirts, branded treats for employees and a celebratory atmosphere throughout the building. Our status as a multiyear winner has been a big help in getting job-seekers to contact us as well. We’re growing significantly and are always on the lookout for team members who fit our values.
How do you think this has helped you recruit and retain new talent?
It’s been a great help in helping us stand out to job seekers. Almost every piece of recruitment and engagement content we create has our Top Workplace wins called out, and it’s great to be able to include the designation on our website, as well as on company materials at job fair tables.
What qualities do you believe make your business a Top Workplace?
It’s simple — our values. They’re not just words we say. They really are our governing principles. Relationships, Excellence, Problem Solving, Integrity and Teamwork are things we depend on every single day.
What are some things you have done internally to communicate about Top Workplaces to encourage participation across the organization?
We include the designation on all company merchandise and internal signage/celebration materials. In addition, management greets every single employee as they enter the building to thank them for their help in us winning the award.
From a workplace culture standpoint, what is something you are most proud of that you have implemented or something unique about your organization that others outside of your organization may not know that you would like them to know?
Our individual development plans for employees. Each year, every employee has one-on-one time with their supervisor where they discuss their goals for their career at SRC. Whether that’s learning a new skill, helping out a new department or something else, every employee is given the opportunity to create a path toward their objectives. It’s a massive undertaking for our people operations team, but it’s a ton of fun and a program that employees consistently tell us they love.
