Results are in for The Times-Dispatch Top Workplaces contest.
Four Richmond-area company officials have been recognized for leadership on this year’s Top Workplaces list. The recognition was based on scores provided on employee surveys.
In the Largest Companies category, the winner was Webb Estes, president and chief operating officer at Estes Express Lines. Employees said, “With our family-inspired culture, Estes’ direction in improvement, efficiency and modernization brings about tremendous excitement in our continued growth and success.”
John Asbury, CEO of Atlantic Union Bank, earned the title in the Large Companies category. Those in the survey praised his energy, passion, authenticity and honesty. “(He) has been an awesome leader during out massive growth over the past five to six years,” one employee said.
The winner in the Midsize Companies category is Theresa Bahen, co-owner of SERVPRO of Chesterfield. Employees said “her level of experience in this industry is unmatched.” Ruby Sandhu, founder, chairman and CEO of RighIT Solutions, an information technology company, took home the top leadership award for the Small Companies category.
