The meeting will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Bonsack Elementary School, located at 5437 Crumpacker Drive, Roanoke, VA 24019.

The second VDOT project starts 0.29 mile east of Route 1220 (Huntridge Road) and extends about 0.5 mile east. These projects entail improving traffic flow and safety by reconfiguring multiple intersections or locations on Route 460 using innovative intersection designs such as a restricted crossing U-turn (RCUT), a thru-cut or a displaced left turn.
An RCUT would redirect traffic that currently turns left onto Route 460 from a side street to make a right turn and proceed to make a U-turn. A thru-cut would redirect side street through traffic to turn left or right at a signal and make a U-turn. A displaced left-turn intersection requires left-turning vehicles to cross to the other side of the road temporarily.
