The journey to Atlee’s first baseball state championship began in September, months before the season kicked off with a 4-2 win against Deep Run on March 13.
In June of 2023, Hanover outfielder Brady Elrod, just a freshman at the time, made a jaw-dropping, diving catch to secure the Class 4 state baseball championship for his Hawks.Â
