Al and Esther Thompson won ABC’s “The Great Christmas Light Fight” a few years ago and continue to draw record crowds every year with their homemade decorations. This will be their last year lighting up.

2334 Thousand Oaks Drive is a favorite on the Tacky Lights tour. The house is covered with 85,000 blue and white lights and has a star with a tail of lights. A flock of reindeer, Santa and a host of holiday characters festoon the yard.

Hadley's Winterland is a must-see in Mechanicsville with over 160,000 lights. This is an interactive display and the owners encourage you to walk through the driveway and enjoy.

Test your Christmas fortune with the "Naughty or Nice" button, play Christmas Hero guitar and step into Christmas with the foot-activated keyboard, try the scavenger hunt and encrypted Christmas carols. Visitors can also write a letter to Santa with a return address and might just get a letter back.

12618 Dawnridge Court aka 'Christmas Court'

12618 Dawnridge Court aka 'Christmas Court'

The whole cul-de-sac on Dawnridge Court in the Walton Park subdivision of Midlothian lights up for Tacky Lights.  That’s a whole bunch of houses on this holiday lane which is now known as "Christmas Court."

They’ve been lighting up their houses for over 10 years.

Each house is different — some have dancing lights, others have white lights and multi-colored lights, plus blow-ups, figures and much more. You’ll see it by the icicle lights strung across the streets.

12618 Dawnridge Court is one of the most decorated homes on the block.

“Christmas on Coralview” at 600 Coralview Terrace in Chesterfield has Minions, the “Christmas Vacation” song, lights set to music and more.

Hunter Bottoms, known for lighting up his parents’ popular Brandermill house at 14309 Long Hill Road, now lights up his own house in Moseley with roughly 75,000 lights.
